Presented at the ASABE Annual International Meeting
Description:
High phosphorus (P) loss from agricultural fields has been an environmental concern because of potential water quality problems in streams and lakes. The objectives of our study include: 1) Reviewing previous studies performed on effectiveness of conservation practice for DRP load reduction in Lake Erie Basin. 2) Synthesizing the information obtained from objective 1 to gain better understanding of impact factors on DRP loads across fields located in Lake Erie Basin (preliminary).
