Description:
The recent Tier 3 regulations for light duty vehicles introduced a new certification fuel designed to be more characteristic of current market fuels. A laboratory test program was conducted to measure differences in CO2 and fuel economy between the current and future certification fuels, to be designated as "Tier 2" and "Tier 3," respectively.
