Description:

The report describes an airborne measurements program in the downwind urban plume of Boston. The variables measured included ozone, nitric oxide, oxides of nitrogen, nitric acid, peroxyacetylnitrate, carbon monoxide, nonmethane hydrocarbon, freon-11, C1-C5 hydrocarbons, condensation nuclei, nitrate, sulfate, temperature, and dew point temperature. The rate of removal or conversion of nitrogen oxides was observed to follow psuedo-first order kinetics.
