Impact/Purpose:

The purpose of this presentation is to open a dialog with state regulators attending the small systems workshop on chlorine monitoring locations selection and the relationship between disinfectant residual and microbial water stability. This presentation will be of interest to state regulators and utility participants at the small systems workshop.

In this presentation we will: review history of distribution system chlorine monitoring siting, review State regulations and guidance, present a case study demonstrating a chlorine monitoring locations evaluation, and present an evaluation of Six–Year Review 3 (SYR3) disinfectant vs coliform and E. coli data
