This bibliography is intended for use by personnel concerned, either via research or management, with the disposal of hazardous wastes, other than sewage sludge, on land. It is the result of a search of recent literature (1970 through 1974) and includes information on the transport, transformation, and soil retention of arsenic, asbestos, beryllium, cadmium, chromium, copper, cyanide, lead, mercury, selenium, zinc, halogenated hydrocarbons, pesticides, and other hazardous substances. The bibliography has been divided into two volumes to facilitate its use. Volume 1 contains all the hazardous substances studied except pesticides.
