Description:
The report assesses the applicability of control technologies for reducing priority pollutants in effluents from the steam-electric power generating industry. It surveys control technologies, identifying those that have demonstrated some control effectiveness for priority pollutants. From the preliminary survey, the control technologies most applicable to the utility industry were identified. The selected control technologies were evaluated to determine their effectiveness in reducing priority pollutants in utility streams and their associated costs.
