Description:
A series of computer programs have been developed which calculate costs for specific unit treatment processes used in water treatment plants. The programs contained in this report are as follows: chlorination, chlorine dioxide, ozone, and granular activated carbon adsorption. Tables are provided which display input and output variables, standardized values for variables, a key for variable input, and the costs associated with five different sized plants for all programs. In addition, program listings and sample outputs for all programs are contained in an appendix. The costs generated by the programs are categorized as capital and O&M expenditures.
