Description:

Protocols for preparing method evaluation materials from real-world lead-containing paints and dusts were developed. he materials were evaluated in a round-robin using five combinations of extraction methods/quantitation techniques (hot-plate and microwave extractions/atomic absorption, inductively coupled emission plasma, and laboratory X-ray fluorescence spectrometries). ata presented include the evaluation of the homogeneity of the materials produced and the repeatability and reproducibility of the methods with these round-robin materials.
