Citation:
Lopex-Avila, V. AND R. Hites. OXIDATION OF PHENOLIC ANTIOXIDANTS IN A RIVER SYSTEM. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Washington, D.C., EPA/600/J-81/659.
Description:
The phenolic antioxidants are important commercial organic chemicals. Their environmental fate is of significance because of their abundance and usage patterns. This paper reports on the fates of 2,6-di-tert-butylphenol and the methyl and octadecyl esters of 3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl) propionic acid in the Pawtuxent River.
