As part of its midterm evaluation of the 2017-2025 light-duty GHG emissions rule, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has been acquiring fuel efficiency data from tests on recent engines and vehicles.

Description:

This paper describes the method and test results of the engine dyno portion of the benchmarking test results including engine fuel consumption maps showing the effects of cylinder deactivation engine technology.
