Description:
Agroecosystems contain about 12% of the terrestrial soil carbon and play an important role in the global carbon cycle. e describe a project to evaluate the degree to which management practices can affect soil carbon in agroecosystems. he objectives of the project are to determine whether agricultural systems can be managed to conserve and sequester carbon and thereby reduce the accumulation of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, and to provide reference datasets and methodologies for agricultural assessments.
