Impact/Purpose:
The purpose of this webinar is to (1) provide an update on the EPA cookstove testing project, (2) present a spreadsheet format for sharing data, (3) address comments on test methods, (4) focus on example test results for a batch-fueled pyrolytic TLUD (top-lit up-draft) cookstove, and (5) solicit further comments on methods, spreadsheet, and data sharing. The audience for the webinar will be mainly stove testers.

A webinar, entitled Update on EPA Stove Testing, Focus on Batch-Fueled Stoves, will be presented by Jim Jetter, EPA, and will be hosted by the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves on August 20, 2013. The purpose of this webinar is to (1) provide an update on the EPA cookstove testing project, (2) present a spreadsheet format for sharing data, (3) address comments on test methods, (4) focus on example test results for a batch-fueled pyrolytic TLUD (top-lit up-draft) cookstove, and (5) solicit further comments on methods, spreadsheet, and data sharing. The audience for the webinar will be mainly stove testers. The webinar will respond to needs for further development of a testing protocol for batch-fueled stoves (as described in the ISO International Workshop Agreement), for sharing data, and for responding to comments on test methods.
