Impact/Purpose:

Submitted for publication in the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) journal, Chemical Communications.

Description:

The performance of magnetically separable N-doped TiO2 was found to be significantly improved when compared with a non-magnetic N-doped TiO2 for the aqueous removal of cyanotoxin Microcystin-LR. The observed enhanced photocatalytic activity may be related to the presence of ferrite nanoparticles in the composition of the magnetically separable composite N-doped TiO2
