U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Research and Development, National Center for Environmental Assessment, Washington, DC, EPA/600/F-13/095b, 2014.

Impact/Purpose:

EPA has developed the National Stormwater Calculator to help support local, state, and national stormwater management objectives.

Description:

The primary focus of the National Stormwater Calculator (SWC) is to inform site developers on how well they can meet a desired stormwater retention target, but it can also be used by landscapers and homeowners. The SWC shows users how land use decisions and low impact development controls affect the amount of stormwater runoff produced.
