Impact/Purpose:
This project investigated the decontamination of carpet surfaces contaminated with Bacillus spores (i.e., surrogates of B. anthracis). Two types of wet/vacuum carpet cleaning systems – unheated (cold) and steam/heated (hot) – were tested for efficacy.
