Effective stormwater management is critical to the protection of human life, urban infrastructure systems, and the environment. Over the last 40 years, the US EPA has invested heavily in stormwater management research and development. This talk will describe the capabilities of the US EPA’s portfolio of stormwater management modeling tools. These include Stormwater Control Siting Tool, the National Stormwater Calculator, and Stormwater Management Model - SWMM5. The US EPA provides these software tools free of charge to promote effective stormwater management in the United States and throughout the world.
