Description:

This talk discusses the challenges of disseminating research relevant to small systems. The presentation discusses efforts by the U.S. EPA’s Office of Research and Development to effectively communicating drinking water information. In particular, communication approaches to reach small water systems, small engineering firms and States will be described. EPA experience using webinars, websites, flyers, articles, pilot- and full-scale field demonstrations and workshops to reach audiences including small drinking water systems with drinking water related information are discussed.
