CORMIX MIXING ZONE MODELS

Description:

Resource Purpose:CORMIX is a software system for the analysis, prediction, and design of aqueous toxics or conventional pollutant discharges to surface waters. CORMIX consists of three subsystems which are: (1) CORMIX 1, for the analysis of submerged single port discharges, (2) CORMIX 2, for the analysis of submerged multi-port discharges; and (3) CORMIX 3, for analysis of surface discharges. This model is used to determine water quality-based permit limits for PS discharges using states' mixing zone standards.
