NATIONAL HEALTH SURVEY OF BEACHES

Description:

Resource Purpose:The annual Beach Survey is designed to gather information about beach water quality, standards, monitoring, and beach health advisories or closures issued during the previous year's bathing season. Each year the survey updates previously submitted beach information and adds information for the remaining areas. Our goal is to provide comprehensive, reliable beach information in specific areas and nationwide. This annual survey questionnaire is part of EPA's overall BEACH program. The goal of the BEACH program is to improve public health protection at our nation's beaches and associated recreational waters through improvements in recreational water programs, communication, and scientific advances.
