1988 NATIONAL SEWAGE SLUDGE SURVEY

Description:

Resource Purpose:Originally developed to support Phase I regulation for use or disposal of biosolids (sewage sludge). Data collected were used to estimate risks, potential regulatory limits, and the cost of regulation. This is currently the only statistically designed survey of biosolids practices in the US. Continued use in regulation development and both national and international scientific reviews.
