The purpose of this SOP is to describe the procedures for extracting and preparing a sill surface wipe sample for GC/MS analysis of pesticides. This procedure is also used for the pre-shipment analysis of sill wipe samples for materials suitability. This procedure must be followed to ensure consistent data retrieval during the Arizona NHEXAS project, the "Border" study, and other "Health and Environment" investigations.
