Description:
The EPA is developing a multi-level approach that utilizes satellite and airborne remote sensing to locate and monitor genetically modified corn in the agricultural landscape and pest infestation. The current status of the EPA IRM monitoring program based on remote sensed imagery acquired from multi-spectral satellite and airborne hyperspectral sensors for use as a decision support tool in a decision support or framework that embodies the use of information assets in a sequential analysis leading to decision concerning resistance development will be discussed.
