Description:

This presentation provides information on the results of three case studies from USEPA arsenic demonstration program. The first case study presented is on the Rimrock, AZ project that used an adsorptive media technology (E33 media) to remove arsenic. The second case study is on the Brown City, MI project that also used an adsorptive media (E33) technology. The third case study provides information on the Climax, MN coagulation/filtration system used to remove arsenic. For each case study, information is presented on the quality of the source water, the design of the treatment system, and the cost and performance of the system. The presentation also introduces the case study information with a short introduction on the USEPA arsenic demonstration program; The locations and types of projects included in the program.
