A Direct Liver Tissue Blotting Method for Use in Proteomic Profiling and Biomarker Discovery.

Impact/Purpose:

Development of a high-throughput tissue blotting method for discovery of protein biomarkers in specific tissues of fish exposed to chemical contaminants. The results show chemical mode of action specific protein biomarkers can be reproducibly detected at low levels using high-throughput mass spectrometry.

Description:

Abstract to be presented as a poster at the SETAC North America 2009 annual meeting.
