Description:

Adaptation to environmental change is not a new concept. Humans have shown throughout history a capacity for adapting to different climates and environmental changes. Farmers, foresters, civil engineers, have all been forced to adapt to numerous challenges to overcome adversity. Adaptation to climate fluctuations include farmers planting different crops for different seasons, and wildlife and humans migrating to more suitable habitats as the seasons change.
