NRMRL's Subsurface Protection and Remediation Division's Technical Support Center consists of a core team of in-house scientists and engineers strongly supported by other in-house and extramural researchers, the Center for Subsurface Modeling Support, and a technical support contractor with off-site subcontractors and many of the leading researchers in the environmental field as consultants. The Subsurface Remediation Information Center serves as the distribution center for publications generated through research and technology transfer efforts. This structure allows for rapid response to requests for assistance, such as review of site-specific issues and utilization of the most knowledgeable people in the environmental field.
