The mission of NRMRL's Water Supply and Water Resources Division's Isotope Hydrology Laboratory (IHL) is to resolve environmental hydrology problems through research and application of naturally occurring isotopes. Recent research projects undertaken by IHL include (1) Climate change impact study on aquifers: Application to the Hoh River Waters, Olympic Peninsula, Washington; (2) Source water protection study in fractured crystalline rock reservoirs: Application to the Goose River watershed, mid-coastal Maine; (3) Ecosystem restoration study of wetlands: Application to the Kankakee River watershed, Illinois-Indiana; and (4) Wet-weather flows in urban watersheds: Application to Mill Creek watershed, Hamilton County, Ohio For further information on IHL's recent research projects, visit the website at http://www.epa.gov/ORD/NRMRL/wswrd/ihl/research.htm.
