Description:
We are pleased to announce the release of the "Foundation" report for the first U.S. National Assessment, "Climate Change Impacts on the United States: The Potential Consequences of Climate Variability and Change." The "Foundation" report provides the scientific underpinnings for the U.S. National Assessment. It is a companion document to the "Overview" report, which provided a synthesis of the results from the Assessment. The "Overview" report was transmitted to the Congress in November 2000.
