Controlling Wet Weather Flow (WWF)pollution is one of the top cleanup priority areas for the USEPA. The Urban Watershed Management Branch (UWMB)of the National Risk Management Research Laboratory's Water Supply and Water Resources Division is responsible for EPA's WWF research. UWMB supports the priority research questions of the Office of Water and has been peer-reviewed by two professional organizations engaged in WWF research. The Branch researches, develops, and demonstrates technologies, systems, and methods required to manage the risks to public health, property, and the environment from WWF and to renew decaying urban infrastructure.
