IRIS Toxicological Review of Cerium Oxide and Cerium Compounds (External Review Draft)
[09/25/09] UPDATE: As per the new IRIS process, all comments received from federal agencies and White House offices on draft IRIS assessments will be made publicly available. Accordingly, interagency comments and the interagency draft of the cerium oxide and cerium compounds IRIS assessment will be available on this website on or before October 14, 2009.
[05/06/07] EPA announces the release of the Toxicological Review of cerium oxide and cerium compounds and notice of the External Peer Review Panel Meeting in the May 6, 2007 Federal Register Notice. This draft assessment is provided for public viewing and comment. Public comments received on the Toxicological Review during the public comment period will be provided to the external peer reviewers for their consideration during the External Peer Review Panel Meeting. Any comments not received within the requested time period will be considered by EPA in their revisions.

EPA conducted a peer review of the scientific basis supporting the human health hazard and dose-response assessment of cerium oxide and cerium compounds that will appear on the Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS) database.
