This project will create/enhance approximately 397 acres of habitat in the Robinson Estuary Preserve through wetland creation, transitional and coastal upland enhancement, and exotics control.
Description:
This project will create/enhance approximately 397 acres of habitat in the Robinson Estuary Preserve through wetland creation, transitional and coastal upland enhancement, and exotics control. Section 104(b)(3) of the Clean Water Act will be supported by the proposed project through creation/enhancement of approximately 140 acres of wetlands. This will lead to water quality and habitat improvement in Tampa Bay, Sarasota Bay, and the Gulf of Mexico.
