Impact/Purpose:
This purpose of this activity is to promote Vibrio vulnificus education on-line continuing medical education units to health care professionals that counsel and care for at-risk individuals.
Description:
This project will promote Vibrio vulnificus education on-line continuing medical education units to health care professionals that counsel and care for at-risk individuals. The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services will purchase advertisement and promotion in medical association and group journals and newsletters. Section 104(b)(3) will be supported by the project through the protection of human health by the professional medical and support group practitioners. Evaluation will assess awareness and the intention of the practitioners to transmit appropriate information directly to the at-risk patient at the time of treatment and/or counseling for the at-risk condition.
