Description:
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) program evaluates the performance of innovative air, water, pollution prevention and monitoring technologies that have the potential to improve human health and the environment. This technology brief, Ultraviolet (UV) Disinfection Systems for Secondary Wastewater Effluent and Water Reuse, contains a brief summary of the information obtained from the ETV Case Studies: Demonstrating Program Outcomes, Volume II (http://www.epa.gov/etv/pdfs/publicatoins/600r06082/600r06082pv.pdf) and the verification reports/statements. This technology brief contains a short descripton of the test technology(ies), test description and results used for verifying the three UV idsinfection systems technology and potential outcomes that could be attributed to the verified technologies.
