Description:

On March 7, 2007 in Heidelberg, Germany, the CAPE-OPEN Laboratories Network (CO-LaN) is offering a one-day training seminar on implementing CAPE-OPEN compliant process modeling components (PMCs) using .NET-based development tools. This seminar will be geared to component developers and will provide hands-on instruction. Participants should bring a laptop computer with a .NET based integrated development environment (IDE), such as Microsoft Visual Studio .NET (or 2003/2005 versions). The course will be a mix of presentations and on-hands coding session supported by the trainers. At the end of the course, participants will have developed a mixer unit operation that can be used in a COM-based PME, such as AmsterChem’s COCO. In addition issues related to Property Packages will be discussed
