Description:

Benthic macroinvertebrate assemblages are useful indicators of ecological condition for aquatic systems. This study was conducted to characterize benthic communities of three large reservoirs on the Missouri River. The information collected will be useful in development of sampling strategies for assessment of large reservoirs.
