Presentation addresses new technologies and new strategies for developing biological indicators to assess the Great Lakes . . . We assessed biomass size-spectra acquired with an optical plankton counter (OPC) or laser optical counter (LOPC) and phytoplankton samples analyzed with a Coulter Counter at 39 site visits across Lake Superior (2005).
