Description:

The presentation provides information on arsenic removal drinking water treatment systems that are likely to be used in Ohio for arsenic removal. Because most Ohio ground water contain significant amounts of iron, iron removal processes will play a major role in treating Ohio ground water for arsenic removal. Information on the performance and cost of the two demonstration projects in Ohio, Chateau Estates and Buckeye Lake, is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the processes used at these two sites.
