Description:
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Environmental Technology Verification(ETV) Program evaluates the performance of innovatiave air, water, pollution prevention and monitoring technologies that have the potential to improve human health and the environment. This technology brief, Microturbines and Combined Heat and Power Technologies, contains a summary of the information provided in the longer case study of the same title that was published in the booklet titled "Environmental Technology Verification Program (ETV) Case Studies: Demonstrating Program Outcomes, Volume II." It contains a brief description of the test, technology(ies), and potential outcomes that could be attributed to verified microturbine/CHP use. The case study booklet was published in September 2006.
