TEST QA PLAN FOR THE VERIFICATION TESTING OF BAGHOUSE FILTRATION PRODUCTS

Citation:

RESEARCH TRIANGLE INSTITUTE. TEST QA PLAN FOR THE VERIFICATION TESTING OF BAGHOUSE FILTRATION PRODUCTS. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Washington, DC, EPA/600/R-06/133, 2007.

Description:

Baghouses and their accompanying filter media are a leading particulate control technique for industrial sources. Increasingly emphasis on higher removal efficiencies has helped the baghouse to be even more competitive when compared to other control devices. At present there is no objective test method for characterizing the performance of baghouse filter devices. Owners or operators wishing to evaluate baghouse performance rely on test information provided by vendors. Thus, independently verified performance data for baghouse components is needed. The objective of the ETV Baghouse Filtration Products program is to produce for the public credible test reports and verification statements regarding PM 2.5 removal performance by tested baghouse filtration media. Testing will be performed according to this Test/QA Plan which responds to the specifications of the Generic Verification Protocol for Baghouse filtration Products.
