Description:

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) Program evaluates the performance of innovative air, water, pollution prevention and monitoring technologies that have the potential to improve human health and the environment. This booklet, ETV Program Case Studies: Demonstrating Program Outcomes, Volume II contains 8 case studies, each addressing a different verified technology category. Each case study contains a brief description of the test, technology(ies), and potential outcomes that could be attributed to its/their use, based on different market penetration scenarios. Where possible, we included potential human health and enviromental impacts. The booklet also includes an introduction which briefly discusses the ETV Program, the proram's rationale for developing the case studies, and how the booklet is organized. The booklet was developed to communicate information about program outcomes, verified technology performance, applicability, and ETV testing requirements to the public and decision-makers.
