Description:
Research collaborations between the National Health and Environmental Effects Research Laboratory (NHEERL) and the National Exposure Research Laboratory (NERL) centered on the development and application of exposure analysis tools in environmental epidemiology include the El Paso Children's Health Study (EPCHS), The Detroit Children's Health Study (DCHS), the Detroit Exposure Aerosols Research Study (DEARS), and the Mechanistic Indicators of Childhood Asthma (MICA). The goal of the cross-ORD post-doctoral fellow is to strengthen multidisciplinary research bridging between exposure assessment and epidemiology. Collaborators in this effort include Lucas Neas (NHEERL), Haluk Ozjaynak (NERL), Ron Williams (NERL), Shaibal Mukerjee (NERL), Jane Gallagher (NHEERL) and the research teams for EPCHS, DCHS, MICA, and DEARS.
