Impact/Purpose:

In support of the annual allotment of the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund grants, the objective of the survey is to determine the 20-year infrastructure investement needs of community drinking water systems at both the individual state level and in aggregate at the National level.

Description:

Conducted every 4 years, the Drinking Water Infrastructure Needs Survey (DWINS) is an EPA-conducted statistically-based survey of the infrastructure investment needs of the Nation's drinking water systems for the next 20 years.
