Impact/Purpose:
Develop new bathing beach monitoring protocols and new approaches for communicating risks associated with swimming and other recreational water activities.
Description:
New rapid methods will be discussed, including their advantages and disadvantages. This presentation will also provide a historical perspective on the evolution of water quality standards and the rationale for risk-based regulations for recreational waters.
