Description:

The Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing (TIGER) system contains digital descriptions of water and transportation features - rivers, lakes, roads, railroads, etc. - as well as major power lines and pipelines. This coverage is a subset of the larger TIGER file, and the coverage has only major roads. The roads in this data file are taken from the TIGER files based on the Census Feature Class Code (CFCC).
