Description:
The PGM_SYS layer in ESDLS for the Virgin Islands provides a point coverage of facilities from the Envirofacts (EF) Oracle database. The pgm_sys layer contains data from the following five Environmental Prote ction Agency (EPA) program systems and subsystems: AFS - Aerometric Information Retrieval System (AIRS) Facility Subsystem PCS - Permit Compliance System TRIS - Toxic Release Inventory System CERCLIS - Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Information System RCRIS - Resource Conservation and Recovery Information System The pgm_sys layer is not a static dataset. The pgm_sys layer refresh tool is used to regenerate the pgm_sys layer monthly in coordination with the monthly EF Oracle database refresh. This is to ensure that the EF database and the pgm_sys layer remain synchronized.
