Impact/Purpose:

The Quick Reference Guides are designed to provide quick, accurate information on specific terrorists agents and help guide EPA On-Scene Coordinators (OSCs) in adequately and quickly responding to a terrorist attack.

Description:

EPA Quick Reference Guides are compilations of information on chemical and biological terrorist agents. The information is presented in consistent format and includes agent characteristics, release scenarios, health and safety data, real-time field detection, effect levels, sampling, decontamination and waste/disposal. Currently 32 QRGs have been completed.
