Description:

The goals of the Mutual Support/Self-Help Survey are to provide a national estimate of the number of mutual support groups, self-help organizations, and businesses and services run by and for consumers and/or their family members and to describe their structure, types of activities undertaken, approaches to well-being and recovery, resources, and links to other community groups.
