GONOCOCCAL SURVEILLANCE ISOLATE PROJECT (GSIP)

Description:

The Gonococcal Isolate Surveillance Project (GISP) is a collaborative project to monitor antimicrobial resistance in Neisseria gonorrhoeae in the United States. The database is a sentinel surveillance system of 26 clinics for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and 5 regional laboratories. The database consists of line-listed data on the first 20 male cases per clinic per month with gonorrhea and antimicrobial test results.
