Information.

Description:

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) Program evaluates the performance of innovative air, water, pollution prevention and monitoring technologies that have the potential to improve human health and the environment. As such, this multi-media program is able to respond to the needs of the marketplace by reducing uncertainty and raising confidence in technology performance. In less than ten years, ETV has verified over 315 technologies and developed more than 80 testing protocols. ETV verification reports and protocols are being used by vendors to market their technologies and by states to permit technologies. Partnerships, as well as co-funding and support from other organizations, have also grown significantly over the life of the program.
