Description:
The performance of the Shirco pilot-scale infrared thermal destruction system has been evaluated at the Rose Township, Demode Road Superfund Site and is presented in the report. The waste tested consisted of solvents, organics and heavy metals in an illegal dump site. Volume I gives the performance results, summary of data and tests performed along with the process description. Volume II is the test program, copies of the original operating data, sampling analysis report and quality assurance plan.
